the dream called styx

story-this note was born with a memory,something totally opposite from the state of mind.during the school days,avijit's enthusiasm with music was throbbing to be freed.there he met three people who eventually became his best friends for life,that is,till date.nitesh mittal,rohan sanwal and chetan sonker,to name them.while nitesh mittal was a guitar prodigy in making,a man so intense and transparent at heart,him and avijit immediately became friends.there was something about these two,the understanding about creating the kind of music they shared,was beyond obvious reasons.rarely would they fall out of tune while creating something together.rohan sanwal,was the stud of the gang,the charismatic singer with brilliant guitaring skills,his music had some aura around it.chetan sonker,on the other hand,the ever happy creature with the desire to be the best in percussion,was the eternal dreamer,with dreams that were both intriguing and beautiful!together these four followers of music,decided to devote themselves to a road they'd build someday,and named it styx.for others it seemed like a band,which would play across and entertain,but for these four,it was a dream.this note here,is a fragment of that dream,to say aloud what it means and how it never goes out of the memory,and never will.

buried in the six feet pit of hope..is a dream that once had a heart..

unseen,unknown,lies below...the sinned but pure calls of the dark..

it lived once,though ages ago..

it smoked once,the art they know..

it bled in them,they flew in it..

some strings,some words,and some worthy shit..

the valley was home to them the men..

together to nod the world amen..!..

towards the end,they had to choose..

to fill the gaps,and bow to muse..

together they shall,together they would...

towards the gate,together they stood..

the time has come,to come alive..

revive the dreams,from dead to life..

joint in black,we played to kill..

the StYx that ruled,and always will...!!!...
